How to apply for US dental schools as an international dentist | Costs?
First lets go through the steps and I will show all the costs together.
Step 1: DENTPIN
Please remember that before you start making any application you will need to create a DENTPIN for yourself. It is basically the first step for your US journey. It is your identifier number for any further process. It is completely free. You can even check the Dentpin video
Step 2: Recommendation letters
Please notify your home dental school dean / professors for letters of recommendations. You will need at least 3. Do this while you are preparing for your dental board exams so that they have ample time for doing this.
Step 3:Transcripts
Notify your university for getting your transcripts. Trust me this one is taking like 3-4 months or more during COVID.
Step 4:Start your ECE evaluation.
There are 2 types of educational credential evaluations, one is ECE and other WES , please choose 🠒 ECE with course by course option.

Step 5: Immigration:
You can study with either the student visa or dependent visa or if you are already a green card holder or a citizen then you have no worries.US visa fees (country dependent) ~ $160-250$
US travel fees (country dependent) while travelling for INBDE because it can only be given in US or Canada
Also include visa transfer fees if needed for you like for example transferring from a tourist to a student visa.

Step 7: Start your CAAPID application
Step 8: Bench test and interview with a dental school:
it is a practical test within the dental school. Due to COVID there have also been online interviews and bench tests.
Step9 : Pay the admission acceptance fees:
it can vary for each school from $5000-20000
